He started CVAC in December 2012 after a homeless vet reached out to him for help. He went to social media to ask for help, volunteers responded, the rest is history. He has spent 35 years as a veteran’s activist in Philadelphia and Cape May County. He is lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans, Past Commander of Chapter #44, and a Certified Chapter Service Officer. Johnnie is also a life member of the VFW, American Legion, AMVETS, Vietnam Veterans of America, a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Stella Maris Council #3546 Erma, NJ. He has owned his own business for 20 years.
He owns and operates Synergy HomeCare of South Jersey for the last 7+ years. He is also the current Vice Chairman of the Dennis Township Consolidated Land Use Board, a former Deputy Mayor and member of the Dennis Township Committee from 2006 to 2012. Prior to opening his business, Dennis worked for ECOLAB for 17 years.
She has served as Executive Director of Volunteers in Medicine of Cape May County for 5 years and is on Finance Council for St. Joseph’s Church in Sea Isle City. She is also an independent consultant and general manager focused on the needs of small business and non-profits. Jackie previously spent more than 20 years in the corporate world, working at a senior executive level for a Fortune 100 company.
Kim is currently the Director of Marketing and Development at CompleteCare Health Network where she has worked since 2013. Her responsibilities for the organization include social media management, public relations, advertising, and grant writing.
